8/1/08 12:45 pm - few more weeks

Well, July is over and today is the first.
Yeah been quite a summer for me this year, fun and interesting.

Been reading this Book (STORY) practically done.
I've had some classes at SCAD,  friends and relatives visit my family,
Then I had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday.

lastly, Alyssa came down to visit my family this summer. It was great.
She was able to interact with my friends and family down here in Savannah.
Oh yeah, i think it was her first experience on a plane by herself and a trip to Savannah GA.

I've been able to keep myself somewhat busy, i feel bad about not getting a summer job this summer.
But I was able to squeeze in one Free lance job on the local island. A Logo for a local. That was cool, i was taking the job while I was doing classes. Trying to learn new things in and outside of class and the client.

But yeah, I felt I've accomplished most of what i wanted to do for my summer before third year.
Other than trying to keep busy.

But yeah, only a few more weeks, I'll see what i can do before I head back.

6/7/08 10:23 pm - Home on Tybee

Yep Its almost been officially been a week since I've been back.

Feels weird last week i was still in Dover, and now I'm back in Tybee Island, GA.

I've been sleeping in and helping around under the Family roof, But in a few weeks I'm going to see that I can get back to drawing again.

Sometimes for me like a year of sleeping sounds Terrific, but after three days or a week I feel I need to draw again. It's so strange how I feel  when that happens. I guess I think of it as not wasting anytime whatsoever, i like to stay on my toes. IDK i may be a workaholic.

The weather has been great and visiting old friends has been good, like walking back into a photo album after making a new one in Dover.

I felt like after I started the 3 year program with the Kubert  school, i've been living two different lives, but still being the same person I know Christ sees me. I can't fool Him, I know He observes and knows what I do. I find it great to know when I feel low that I don't always need to look down but could always Look up. The ultimate Way for my life. I thank Christ for everything including getting through each year in Dover, that especially being on my own the first time.

It's been tough but I think thats how it gets when you get older, a way to mature, a way to see the world in a new pair of eyes. I guess i've been thinking about that lately, because I'm finally turning 20 this year in the end of June.

YESS!!!

Every day is a new day

Thank God

3/28/08 10:39 am

I've been in New York City twice this week,

It feels like I've spent a whole week in New York.

My brother and sister have been up here to visit from home for five days. Real nice to see them, brings back good memories
just in time to start more new ones for up here. Their last day visiting me was spent in NEw york, thus making it my second time.

We all visited three museums that day, The Moma, The Met, and the Natural history museum.
we all got a chance to see them before 5:30, which I think is the time that they start closing. Not really sure.

It was great, We went out at Diners in Jersey, walked in New York, said hello with my friends
starting from the funeral home to starbucks, (yeah, I'm kind of a regular there, oh the thing with the funeral home, long story.) Spent some break time swimming in the pool and in the wicked Jacuzzi. The time we spent together, it's so weird they were only here for five days  but it felt like two weeks or something.

Dropping them off at the airport was kind of tough, that including getting them there around 7:00 a few hours early before 9.
They were waiting in line, I was limping my way around to see them go, all sore from the day before.
I was like, "But you guys just got here yesterday".

It was fun having them here, they got a chance to see NYC and got a little experience of how I live in Dover.

3/9/08 05:13 pm - A suspenseful month

Greetings again LJ participants,

A month away before the sun actually stays in one place, and not wait to see on the weekends. To stay officially.

A few months before graduating in a comic book art school, for this year.  Thinking of what job to have over the summer
wether  Art oriented or not. I hope for art as a job over the summer, just not another summer pushing, cleaning, and drying dishes.

A few more weeks until my two siblings visit me in Jersey, excited as hell. Haven't seen them since Christmas vacation.

A few more hours before I take a break from homework for the day. Maybe.

and

a few more seconds away from making more green tea.
No sugar, all raw baby.  Just  love the antioxidants.

Anyway for those who are still on typing away
take care and have a blessed day

The only thing that's different from each day from the week,
is that all are not the same

Everyday is a new Day
Thank God!

Take care everyone

2/23/08 05:22 pm - greetings from Alley Valley

Hello LJ viewers,

this week has probably been the longest week of this new year.

I remember my boring break for Thanksgiving last year
I tried to get all my homework done early, turns out I actually did finish
what had. After that, I never heard the clock tic so slowly, it felt like a
different period in time or something.  Maybe a Twilight Zone effect.

I actually stayed at a Starbucks for 12 hours straight one time.
My keywords here, ONE TIME. That was the only time I ever did it.
I know TMI , and my goodness what a loser. Yes I laugh at myself from time
to time.

Never doing that again, don't get me wrong, I love talking to my freinds who walk inside and
out of the coffee machines. But 12 hours is too long anywhere, except for home with family.

Yeah, today's Sat.
I still feel this week was long and at the same time relatively quick.
I guess the gorgeous one was on my mind, just a tad.

Plus I know the Ocars are on tommorrow night, I'm planning to  mooch off her cable just for that
LOL.

TAke care everyone have a great weekend
